SHIFTING INTO 2021

The past 30 years have given me the opportunity to serve as a trusted partner navigating hiring, organizational structure, leadership challenges and career choices through my executive search practice. Supporting, connecting, and empowering people has always been what motivates me. This commitment and an ongoing desire to learn and grow, lead me to complete a Masters’ level coaching certification from Columbia University, and accreditation from the International Coaching Federation. While continuing my commitment to executive search, I also recently launched my coaching company, Fifth Gear Coaching. I am excited about the high level of engagement and impact this combination can offer my clients.

Knowing How To Shift

The past year has moved all of us in multiple ways. Economic and social challenges, the shift to a virtual existence, changing expectations and altered and competing priorities are just some of the impacts of COVID on our professional and personal lives. Navigating these challenges requires a reassessment of our own skills as well as of those of the teams we have in place or we will hire. As the layers of this onion are peeled back, many are realizing they need support to help them shift and navigate these challenges. For some it is about steering their businesses and teams through this changing dynamic, to be better and stronger. For others it is about recalibrating their own purpose and focus going forward. Knowing how to shift or what to consider may be tough to navigate on your own.

Continuous Self-Development

The learnings of 2020 can make 2021 better –– it’s how you apply the experiences you faced to grow and thrive in your career, leadership and your life. If any of these scenarios ring true for you or someone on your team, I would enjoy the chance to speak further about how coaching may be of benefit. Continuous self-development and personal insights are critical in leading and in realizing your own long-term success. My experience with coaching has made me a better search partner and my experience in search has offered unique insights that make me a better coach. How might I help you on your journey to be the best version of yourself?
