About Mike
Mike Shirey is the Chief Operating Officer at Soles4Souls - a nonprofit organization focused on turning unwanted clothing and shoes into an opportunity to both improve the planet, by keeping them from going to waste, while providing relief, creating jobs and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty. Prior to joining Soles4Souls, Mike held various Senior Executive roles within the footwear industry including Aerosoles, Nine West, Highline United and Nina Shoes. Married with two children, Mike enjoys hot yoga and running – having recently completed his first half marathon in Zion, Utah. As a lifelong avid fan of the city of Cleveland, OH sports teams, Mike learned the importance of not dwelling on the past but rather holding on to hope, and living an optimistic life!
